Details

A hard shell with a shock-absorbing core and a built-in e-ink display on the back. The screen shows your photo in a soft, paper-like look and needs no battery, no charging, ever.

Fits iPhone 13 through 17, including Plus, Pro and Pro Max, and Samsung Galaxy S23, S24 and S25 Ultra. Five colors for iPhone, three for Samsung. Wireless charging and MagSafe work as usual.
The app

The free Poche app is where you pick the photo. Choose one, hold your phone against the case, and it appears on the screen in a few seconds.

Instructions for the app come in the package with your order.

Change it as often as you like. Once a year or three times a day, there is no limit and it never costs anything. The photo stays on the case until you swap it, even if you take the case off.

FAQs

Does it need charging?

No. Never. The e-ink screen only uses power for the few seconds it takes to change the photo, and that power comes from your phone through NFC. There is no battery in the case at all.
How do I get started with the app?

Instructions for the app come in the package with your order. Download the free Poche app, follow the steps in the box, and you are set in a few minutes.
How do I change the photo?

Open the app, pick a new photo, hold your phone against the case. It updates in a few seconds. Change it once a year or once a day, as many times as you like. It is free every time.
Does the photo disappear if I remove the case?

No. The photo is held by the e-ink screen itself, not by your phone. Take the case off, lend it to a friend, put it on a shelf. The photo stays until you change it.
Which phones does it fit?

Every iPhone from 13 to 17, including Plus, Pro and Pro Max, plus Samsung Galaxy S23, S24 and S25 Ultra. Pick your model in the dropdown above.
Do wireless charging and MagSafe still work?

Yes. Both work as usual with the case on. The e-ink screen sits in the shell and does not get in the way of charging.
Is the app free?

Yes. The Poche app is free, and changing the photo never costs anything, no matter how often you do it.
Can each case in a pack show a different photo?

Yes. Each case holds its own photo, so a 2-pack can show two different photos or the same one. You choose a color and a model for every case in the pack.
How long does shipping take?

What if it's not right?

    She cried a little

    Got it for my girlfriend for our two year anniversary and loaded a photo from our first trip. She cried a little, in a good way. The screen looks like a printed photo, not a gadget.

    Better than I expected

    Bought it for my boyfriend who is impossible to shop for. He changes the photo like once a week now. The paper look is really nice, softer than a normal screen.

    Long distance approved

    Great case, slow post

    The case itself is a five. Took almost two weeks to arrive though, so order in good time if it's for a specific date. Would still buy again.
